LOUGH RYNN CASTLE AND ESTATE

Lough Rynn Castle Estate and Hotel, Leitrim, Ireland is the original 19th Century Home of the Clements Family, which was headed by the legendary figure of Lord Leitrim.  This is an incredible development comprising a luxury 42 bedroomed Hotel together with a World Class Spa and Leisure facility and a Championship Golf Course designed by Nick Faldo due for completion in Summer 2009.

DINING

The Sandstone Restaurant offers an elegant Fine Dining experience which is unique in the region.  With research and tasting of local fresh produce our Head Chef Jean Michel Chevet has created a series of Table d'Hote and A la Carte menus which use suppliers from Leitrim and the surrounding counties.  The wines have been carefully selected from vineyards across France, Italy, Spain and the New World.  The Sandstone Restaurant has a series of comfortable drawing rooms that serve food daily from 12noon to 9pm, The Sandstone Restaurant opens for Dinner at 7pm until 9.30pm and from 6 pm on the weekends”

GOLF

Lough Rynn Golf Course is being designed by Nick Faldo, the most successful Ryder Cup player of all time (he has played in more matches, and won more points than any other player in history) and winner of 42 international titles.  Nick had about 150 acres around Lough Errew (just metres from Lough Rynn) on which to design his course. The setting is breathtaking as the course takes players all of the way around the lake, over rivers, through woodland and rolling parkland, past 200 year old oak trees and a prehistoric Dolmen.  The Clubhouse will be hidden in the trees near the gates to the castle and will be home to another restaurant and bar together with changing and club facilities.  The course is due to open towards the end of 2008.

SPA

Lough Rynn’s opulent Moroccan-themed Spa is due to open in 2009 with 15 treatment rooms and calming relaxation areas.  There will also be a leisure centre with gym, 18m swimming pool and feature pool.

Lough Rynn is just 8 kilometres off the N4 Dublin to Sligo road. It is less than 2 hours from Dublin. It is just 55 minutes from Knock International Airport, 60 minutes from Sligo Airport. It is just 10 minutes from the railway station at Dromod.
