Garden Cottage has the same spacious bedroom configuration as Little Hay with entrance hallway to a cosy lounge with kitchenette where guests can enjoy the most stunning view onto Kenmare Bay.

The entrance to Garden Cottage is only a few steps away from Little Hay, yet it is practically hidden from view, as it is built from a lower elevation and is only single storey.

Nevertheless you know you are approaching something quite special as you descend towards its entrance, firstly you are drawn to the sound of what appears to be a mini waterfall but is a simple design feature, but an effective one, as water flows down over what remains of a high mass of rock that was excavated in order to build Garden Cottage, secondly you cannot but appreciate the skilled craftsmanship of the stone masons and the thatchers that give this cottage its unique design and character.

Both rooms have a bed configuration that can be separated for twin occupancy or zipped and linked to make a king bed, spacious marble bathrooms with twin vanities and separate shower stall to the bathtub. Each of the bedrooms opens out to a spacious patio where guests can sit back and enjoy the splendour of this remarkable setting.   There is some extra space available in each of the bedrooms for a rollaway bed if required for children so the maximum capacity is 6 people (two of whom must be children).

The Estate, cradled between the Caha Mountains and the Kenmare Bay, hosts a multitude of historic tales.  The ruins of a tiny church, known to date back to Viking times, can be found to the west of the Estate along with a Holy Well near the foreshore reputed to have distinctive healing properties.
