Castlemartyr Resort is located on a 220 Acre Estate which is surrounded by Mitchells wood, allowing a perfect location for walks and exploring the grounds.

Just at the gate of the estate lies the quant village of Castlemartyr with its warm friendly service in the local shop and pub, simply adding pleasure to the already relaxing experience. Cork City is conveniently located 30 minutes by car from the Resort. The city boasts a large variety of shops and hosts restaurants and bars to cater all needs and wants.

The bustling towns of Midleton and Youghal and Garryvoe Beach are only minutes away.

A local award winning Grocer in the village has an order and deliver service for the Lodges/Mews.

Castlemartyr Lodges:
The Lodges are built inside the original walled gardens of Castlemartyr Estate. Each Lodge has a paved stone walkway to the front door with a tarmac driveway and landscaping throughout. Car parking is available in front of each Lodge. Each house is equipped with a dry storage for Golf bags and shoes.

The ground floor is open plan from the fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge.

There is solid wooden flooring throughout the ground floor and upstairs. An open stairway overlooks the downstairs living area. The large windows throughout give unique views over the estate golf course. There are patio doors from the lounge out onto a large wooden deck.

Guests have complimentary access to the pool area between the hours of 10am and 12pm and 2pm and 4pm only for adults and children.

Mews Houses

The Mews Houses are built in the Grounds of the 13th Century Castle adjacent to the current Castle remains. Originally stables and outhouses there are now 10 Mews Houses.

Between the houses lies an inner courtyard into each house with car parking adjacent. Some houses vary in relation to the kitchen and living room areas. Some are connected and some on 2 levels. The hallway is dominated by a solid teak stairway. The cottage house appearance is highlighted by exposed wooden beams upstairs and unique windows built into the original castle wall. Stunning views overlooking the Lake, Manor House, Castle and Golf course add the final touch of elegance to the intimate dwellings.

Castlemartyr is open for Christmas and New Year.

Should you wish to booking in the Restaurant over the festive period, we would advise you to do this prior to arrival as to avoid disappointment

Heating and electricity: Heating and electricity charges are included in the rates. Heating and hot water is by natural gas.
